The right candidate will work within our General Contracting division to identify, develop, and implement construction projects including efficiency, conservation, and renewable resource solutions to deliver High Performing Sustainable Buildings to our well established client base in various markets.Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:� Identify strategic opportunities for energy projects through current client base, bid opportunities, and sales leads.� Conduct visits to customer project sites to investigate existing building envelope, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. � Gather and document key project to identify site energy performance information, including utility data and facility infrastructure drawings. � Identify opportunities for conservation or efficiency and prepare energy savings calculations. � Conduct comprehensive energy audits (Building Envelope, HVAC, Water) at customer project site facilities.� Perform energy and water consumption measurements, usage analysis, and energy modeling � Evaluate and verify data and prepare energy audit summary reports. � Develop & prepare detailed specifications, cost savings analysis, and scopes of work for energy efficiency and conservation improvements.� Obtain necessary qualified subcontractors and vendors to bid and deliver the project per requirements and standards. � Work with Project Teams to develop, prepare, and deliver winning proposals and presentations. � Responsible to execute and implement energy & mechanical projects managing site superintendents, subcontractors, and contract documentation. � Strong verbal, written, computer communication and technical presentation skills. � Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and business relationships. � Perform other duties as required. � Ability to Travel Required,Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:� Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree in building HVAC, electrical or mechanical disciplines desirable.� Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, and controls.� 10 years building construction experience & any Federal Contracting experience a plus.� 2-5 years energy engineering or related work experience performing facility audits involving lighting, water, mechanical, and electrical systems. � Professional registration or educational progress toward PE, CEM, LEED. � Demonstrated knowledge of energy conservation principles and techniques, lighting technologies, and facility HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and water systems. � MS Office proficiency, including advanced Excel spreadsheet skills. � Proficiency in Autocad, MS Project, MS Access� Strong organizational, verbal, written, and technical communication and presentation skills. � Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, projects, and business relationships. � Valid Drivers License in good standing, issued by resident state required. � U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required. � May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
